about my work

My interest in cameras and creating media started with photography.

I was 12 years old when I got my first digital camera, the Nikon Coolpix; While it wasn’t the greatest camera out there, I established my photography roots like most do: by taking pictures of nature.

While I have a stronger background in photography, my camera skills have extended to video work as well. From low budget and poorly written short films in college, to cut-and-paste news packages; these were the foundations of my video experience. Thankfully, I’ve learned more about professional video production in the past few years. I’ve been able to film and edit commercials, social videos, and create episodes for local television.

What drives me to be well-rounded in the industry is a passion for knowledge and being useful. I am always searching for how to improve on new and established skills. I prefer to not be bored or comfortable, so I’m always looking for new challenges or techniques to learn.

While I always want to have fun with my projects, I also enjoy the organization of something from start to finish.

My background so far is mostly in TV production, commercials, and photography, but I have hopes of breaking into the entertainment industry in the future.
